This portfolio represents a significant evolution in my workflow, as it focuses on the creation of a low-poly game asset. The process involved high-poly modelling, retopology, and UV unwrapping in Maya, with baking performed in Marmoset Toolbag. Texturing was accomplished using Substance Painter. This project provided me with extensive experience, particularly in handling emission in Marmoset, as well as final rendering and lighting, which were new to me. To begin this model, I sought out a small, hard surface reference and ultimately chose an underwater drone as my inspiration (https://sprout.cc/work/projects/microplastic-sensing-drone/) , which I planned to integrate into an underwater scene. This project showcases a microplastic sensing drone designed to detect, locate, and analyse the invisible threat of microplastics in the world’s oceans, coastal regions, and rivers. I have included several scenes here that were composited using Nuke, After Effects, and Premiere Pro. Throughout this project, I received substantial support from my mentor, Supriyo Sir
https://www.artstation.com/supriyo
who was instrumental in helping me visualize the entire scene. In conclusion, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to my mentor and Mayakul Academy for invaluable assistance and guidance throughout this project.
